Bleakfields Asylum

A private Asylum to the North East of Nottingham in the country and surrounded by a large estate bordered by high walls. It is built from an old estate and was converted into it’s present from after the Great War to house servicemen broken by the conditions – by a Dr White.

Over time it became a private Asylum open to all, not just servicemen.

It has a dark history of electrical treatment and lobotomies, although the practise official ended towards the 1970’s. Many “lost of found” people end up here, with no recollection, or personalities from their past life – as if they just lost their vital spark.

The Nephandi, Crane used to work here – in the old administration.
